While you are here with us at Carrigeen Glamping we suggest you take advantage of the peace and quiet to chill out and rejuvenate. However, if you wish to go further afield, Kilkenny city is just a short drive away.
Here you will find plenty to keep you busy with Kilkenny Castle, St. Canice's Cathedral and Round Tower, Smithwick's Experience, Medieval Mile Museum and plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants.
If you want to venture outside the city you will find lots to do close by such as visiting Dunmore Caves, Woodstock Gardens, Castlecomer Discovery Park and the nearest beach is just about an hour away in Tramore, Co. Waterford.
HORSE RIDING
There is a horse riding school just a kilometre from us. They have lovely horseriding tracks available with beautiful views of the Kilkenny countryside. We highly recommend Yvonne and her crew at Kilkieran Equestrian Farm.
