When is the best time to clean up fallen leaves?

When the first fall of course!

Wrong, the answer is never.

If you can avoid it, do. If you can't...well that's another story.

I'm not a big fan of cleaning up leaves. Let them rot where the fall I say.

But then they gather and accumulate and form heaps and before you know it..

your world consists of nothing but decaying leaves each time you step out the front door.

So when is the best time to gather leaves?

The answer is - drum roll - when they allow you.

Yesterday they allowed me. They had stopped traveling and lay wet where they lay.

It was an easy enough job, a very necessary one and when the time is right,

An enjoyable one. The place felt cleaner and I easier.
